The Military

My cousin is in the Navy and i am very proud of him even though i was suppose to be the first one in our family to join. But oh well it dont matter. He is my hero and i respect him and this is all i ask for people to do when they see a soldier. I want you to shake there hand and tell them that you appreciate them for protecting our country. It's that simple. Just remeber that they are just like me and you and that they are fighting a war. So if they can risk there life for a whole country then what can you do? They dont get to see there family everyday and tell them how much they love them we take our family for grantie. What would you do if one day your famliy was gone you wouldnt know what to do. They dont get to see there mom and dad's. Im sure they would love to just keep in mind that freedom isnt free you have to fight for it
My old football coach JASON STINSON was found not guilty. I feel that the jury made a good decision. The thing that people do not understand is that he has to live with this the rest of his life. I understand were other people are coming from yes Max is dead and he was one of my best friends. We all have to live with that each and every day of our lives nobody has had time to heal through this whole ordeal. For the last 13 months we have all had to hear about this as soon as somebody starts to heal another article or another news story is there to haunt me and everybody in the Pleasure Ridge Park community. Now that this is over for the most part we can start healing but we shouldnt just forget about Max we shoudlnt remeber him for his death either we should remeber him with the good times. Like making jokes in class and fun at practice. He will always be loved and he will always be in our hearts the only way that people can understand this is that if they were actually on a football team at one point. You dont understand the brotherhood and family. Until you do understand that than you cant really understand what we are going through each and everyonr of us football players at PRP lost a friend that day but we also lost a brother. But it is now time to move on and forget about the bad memories and start remebering the good one's. Yes everybody is going to have there breakdowns something is going to remind them of what has happended but no matter how many tears you shed it wont bring our friend back. If i could of done something to change the result of that day i would of so would of about 1,500 other students at PRP. It was a hard time when i went there after Max died i moved two hours away here to Owensboro and it still bothers me i saw it on Channel One News the News Channels in Owensboro. So no matter how far you run you will not forget about it. Now im not saying that we should just move on.Life is going to throw somethings in our way to try and make us give up. But this is one of those obstacles that have been thrown at us and we need to get through this obstacle. With that i leave this Max i know your in heaven i love you buddy you were one of my best friends you helped me with alot you. You are my true hero you fought until you couldnt anymore i will see you again one day in heaven and we will start off right were we left off. Cant wait to play that football game with you in heaven love you Max you will be missed but you will never be forgotten.

football

well this has been a tough week for me. this is the week of the trials that started for my football coach back at prp. max gilpin who was my best friend collpased on the football field and 3 days later he died it was tragic. but to make it even more tragic there now charging my football coach with reckless homocide. they dont realize that its bad enough that he has to live with this for the rest of his life it was just an accident so i hope to hear a not guilty charge sometime in the next few weeks but i support stinson
